Traditional Amboli Flour. For breakfasts rooted in tradition.
Specially prepared flour for making soft, authentic Maharashtrian Amboli.
Prepared using traditional grains in balanced proportions for consistent homemade results.
| 1 bowl | Instant Amboli Flour |
| 1½ bowls | Water, plus a little more if needed |
| To taste | Salt |
| For serving | Ghee, optional |
| 01 Make the batter | Mix the Amboli Flour, water and salt to make a smooth, pourable batter. The batter should be slightly thinner than dosa batter. |
| 02 Heat the tawa | Heat a cast-iron tawa or non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it. |
| 03 Pour & shape | Pour a ladleful of batter onto the centre of the hot tawa. Starting from the centre, gently spread the batter outwards in a loose circle. Do not spread it too thin; the batter should naturally form small holes on the surface. |
| 04 Cover & cook | Cover and cook for about 2 minutes, until the underside is lightly golden and the top looks set. |
| 05 Flip | Flip and cook the other side for another 1–2 minutes. |
| 06 Serve | Serve warm, with a little ghee for even better taste. |
